We start with the latest Apple cable assembly featuring a volume remote control on the right earpiece cable. This remote has three buttons and allows you to control the volume, and control playback (pause/play/skip forward or backward) or answer the phone while leaving the iPhone 4, 3GS or iPod tucked away in a pocket. The cable also features a microphone that enables voice memo recording or talking on the phone. The buds are the highly rated Etymotic Research ER-6i in white. The in-the-ear design offers incredibly detailed music reproduction and bass response unlike anything you've heard before if you've been using standard Apple ear buds. The ER-6i's have been designed to work specifically with the iPod/iPhone/iPad by increasing sound output and bass response.
