So how do they sound? The first thing you will notice is the unbelievably full and natural bass response. The sound seems to extend all the way down to 20Hz, which is unheard of for a canal earphone. Lack of bass is a the most common complaint with in-ear earphones, but trust us - Future Sonics has solved this problem. But these are not just about thumping bass, the sound is balanced, with mids and highs that are clear and precise. Unlike most earbuds, these have an unusual ability to keep the sound balanced even as you lower the volume. The silicon tips are very soft and we find the 'medium' size works well for most people. They isolate outside noise very nicely and stay put, even if you are active. We've compared them to dozens of high end earphones ranging from $50 - $500 and these are the best we've heard.
